In the midst of all the dumbed down, repetitive personal finance websites, it is easy to glaze over the same advice time after time. Make a budget, save money, invest conservatively. In the sea of all the chatter on the internet, it can be easy to lose perspective.
After experiencing my own financial highs and lows, I learned some interesting things about personal finance and investing along the way. I have gone from a broke student, to a corporate job at an international bank, to moving up the ladder, all to have it almost all come crashing down again being a spendthrift and wasting money. Once I decided to take my financial life back, I wanted to share some of the things I learned along the way, but also provide some snippets of history and politics to help people understand why things are the way they are.
Not only did I want to empower myself financially, but I also had questions. How did so many people end up in debt? What do they do in other countries in terms of things like saving and retirement and why do they do them differently? How are we getting duped by big government and big business? How can we as ordinary people navigate this system legally in order to use it to our advantage like the super rich do?
I want to show people new things but I also want to learn through researching the financial topics that interest me and share my new knowledge with others. How many ideas and thoughts do we all have in a day that just remain that? My hope is that I can use my curiosity, prior knowledge and daily reflections to benefit and entertain others. The information provided by www.cashchronicles.com is for informational purposes only.
